One of my pet peeves about the internet marketing industry (and yes I have been guilty of this myself) it practice of creating deadlines to enhance the urgency of the purchase. Almost every promotion or launch has countdown and launch deadline in addition to early bird bonuses entice you to buy NOW not later.
Many launches have a built in cap involved like a 500 seat conference that will sell out the first or second day. Others have the be the one of the first 3 or 10 or 100 and you'll get upgraded to a bigger gift or longer membership.
How many times have you jumped on an early bird offer only to find that the best bonuses were offered on the second day when sales lagged? Make you want one of those "we will match plus" offers like some of the big box stores offer.
